PostSubject: Perfection Vs. Imperfection   Wed Apr 13, 2011 5:31 pm

You know that old saying "Its our imperfections that make us perfect"? well if our imperfections make us perfect, then we would be perfect. However if we were perfect then we would have no imperfections, therefore we would not be perfect. However, then we would have imperfections that make us perfect. Can anyone make sense of this?

I am not trolling here, surprising as it may be. I was simply wondering if anyone could possibly make sense of this, or if their heads would explode? Regardless, I am neither "trolling" or "lolling"

It is a saying that if thought about logically or examined in any true depth, one would find it spinning about in paradox of a statement. Because you can not be perfect with imperfections.

Please go more in depth about what exactly you are saying to me. I would like to know, because you either know exactly what you are talking about, or you are spewing ignorance like a unicorn craps rainbows. Because you interest me so much, I will be waiting for your response like a fat kid on a diet wants chocolate cake.

Lol fat kids on diets...watch them run for the cake.

It's a paradox. Which means a seemly true statement that logically contradict it's self. Or in another definition of paradox is a situation which seems to defy logic or intuition. All this has the ironic tone to it which is what your statement is. Do not take contradiction as a paradox since it lacks the ironic tone to it.

Hmm due to previous promises to the higher power of the Admin. I think I will withhold my urge to continue on the great 14.

Dammit. I missed all the fu--WAIT! There's still ironic to define! Do you want the technical or slang definition?

Well, the ironic definition is the technical one. Ironic and sarcastic are actually the same thing. Saying one thing when meaning the opposite in order to be funny, witty, or what have you. I say it's the ironic definition in light of what irony/ironic are thought to mean now.
